Three luxurious gites, located in an 18th Century domaine in Sallertaine, at the heart of the Vendee Hinterland, only 15km to local sandy beaches. The Domaine has belonged to the same family since it was built in 1723 and is situated in relaxing and harmonious surroundings.
The gites have been nicely renovated, and decorated with great care, and are extremely comfortable. Furthermore, they each have a terrace with garden furniture and sun loungers, a heated swimming pool (8m x 4 m) and Internet connection.
La Grange gite is for 6/7 persons.
It comprises a very large living room (96 m²) with a fully fitted, open-plan kitchen, two lounges including one with a traditional Vendee-style fireplace. This charming gite features 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room.
You enter into the living room through a large glass door opening onto the dining area which includes a large table and 8 chairs, as well as a dresser.
On the left is the open-plan kitchen fully equipped with vitro ceramic cooking hobs, a traditional oven, a cooking hood with extractor, a micro wave, a dishwasher, a fridge, as well as a small breakfast bar with 2 tall stools, and central island work unit.
There is a scullery with a cupboard, a freezer, a washing machine, a dryer, a vacuum cleaner, an iron with iron board, and a clothes-horse.
A lounge with a fire place (logs provided) for those cooler evenings in low season, is facing the entrance door, and includes a sofa, a coffee table, 2 small side tables, a stool, a standard lamp, a sideboard and a Hi Fi system.
On the right side, you will find another lounge area with a sofa, 2 armchairs, a stool, a coffee table, a standard lamp, and a flat screen TV with a DVD player.
At the far end of the living room, there is a WC with a hand basin.
Next to the fire place, a door opens onto a corridor leading to the bedrooms. On your right, there is another separate WC with a hand basin. On the left side of the corridor, you will find a large built in cupboard.
The first bedroom has a double bed (160cm), bed side tables with lamps, and a wardrobe.
The second bedroom has a double bed with a canopy, bedside tables with lamps, and a wardrobe.
Between the bedrooms, you will find a bathroom with a bath, and a shower, 2 hand basins, and 2 stools.
The third bedroom has twin beds (90cm), bedside tables with lamps, and a large built in wardrobe. A 3rd bed, suitable for a child up to 13 years old, can be added in this bedroom. There is an en-suite shower room with a hand basin, and an electric towel dryer.
The three bedrooms open onto the lawn garden through patio doors.
The house has an underfloor heating (with extra cost).
The private swimming pool situated at the back of the house, is protected by an electrically operated cover when not in use, and is surrounded by a paved terrace and a lawn, ideal for sunbathing. A sun shade, sun loungers, garden furniture as well as a charcoal BBQ are provided, to enable you get maximum enjoyment from your holiday in this exceptional site.
Heating for the pool and the gite is provided by an eco-friendly heat-exchange system.
The pool can be heated from June to the end of September.
There is an internet connection.
Animals are not accepted.
