Three luxurious gites, located in an 18th Century domaine in Sallertaine, at the heart of the Vendee Hinterland, only 15km to local sandy beaches. The Domaine has belonged to the same family since it was built in 1723 and is situated in relaxing and harmonious surroundings. The gites have been nicely renovated, and decorated with great care, and are extremely comfortable. Furthermore, they each have a terrace with garden furniture and sun loungers, a heated swimming pool (8m x 4 m) and Internet connection.
The Verger Clos is a terraced house that can accommodate 6 people thanks to its 130 m² surface area.
This charming gite comprises a lounge, a fully fitted open-plan kitchen, and a separate living room on the ground floor. It also has 3 bedrooms with 1 bathroom and 1 shower room over two levels.
You enter the house into the lounge which is furnished with 3 armchairs in front of the fire place (logs provided) for those cooler evenings in low season, a dining table with six chairs, a dresser, and a sideboard with 2 lamps. Near the entrance there is a WC with a hand basin, and a cupboard.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker with vitro ceramic hobs, and a traditional oven, a cooking hood with extractor, a micro wave, a dishwasher, and a fridge.
There is a scullery with a cupboard, a freezer, a washing machine, a dryer, a vacuum cleaner, an iron with iron board, and a clothes-horse.
The living-room is furnished with a sofa, one armchair, one stool, a coffee table, a small sideboard with 2 lamps, and a large flat screen TV with DVD player.
In a corner there is one chair with another small round coffee table.
On the first floor, there is a separate WC at the top of the stairs, as well as a small sideboard with 2 lamps.
There is one bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a full length mirror, a small chest of drawers, and hidden by a screen there is a rod with coat hangers. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and 2 hand basins.
The second bedroom has a double bed, bed side tables with lamps, a large mirror, and a small wardrobe. There is an en suite shower room with a hand basin.
On the second floor, there is one bedroom with 2 single beds, bedside tables with lamps, a small cupboard, and a small school desk with 1 chair.
The heated swimming pool, situated at the back of the house is protected by an electrically operated cover when not in use and is surrounded by a paved terrace and a lawn, ideal for sunbathing. A sun shade, sun loungers, garden furniture as well as a charcoal BBQ are provided, to enable you get maximum enjoyment from your holiday in this exceptional site.
Heating for the pool and the gite are provided by an eco-friendly heat-exchange system.
The pool can be heated (extra cost, except from 5/6 to 25/09/2010).
