For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, we, Holiday Vendee EURL and Wake Up Travel Ltd are data controllers.
Our primary goal in collecting personal information from you is to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and personalised experience while using our services.

Information required to process your booking
In order to process your booking, we need to collect certain personal details from you. These details will include, where applicable, the names and addresses of party members, credit/debit card or other payment details and special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition which may affect the chosen holiday arrangements and any dietary restrictions which may disclose your religious beliefs. If we need any other personal details, we will tell you before we obtain them from you.
We need to pass on your personal details to the companies and organisations who need to know them so that your holiday can be provided (for example your accommodation supplier, credit/debit card company or bank).

Personalised Information collected for marketing purposes
Our aim is to provide services and features that most likely meet your needs, and to customise our service to make your experience easier and quicker.
We would like to store and use your personal details for future marketing purposes (for example, sending you an email newsletter or details of a promotion). All details you give us in connection with your booking (including those relating to any disability or medical condition or your religious beliefs ) will be kept but we will obviously only use names and addresses for marketing. If you do not want us to do any or all of these things, please let us know as soon as possible. We are entitled to assume you do not object to our doing any of the things mentioned in this statement unless you tell us otherwise in writing.
Except where expressly permitted by the Data Protection Act, we will only deal with the personal details you give us as set out above unless you agree otherwise. We have appropriate security measures in place to protect this information.

We automatically track certain information about you based upon your behaviour on our site. This information helps us to better understand our visitors’ interests and how they use our website, so that we can provide a better, more personalised service in future.

We may use information we obtain from your current and past activities on the Site, to resolve any disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our Terms & Conditions. At times, we may look across multiple users to identify problems or resolve disputes.

Persistent Cookies for Site Analytics and Perforamance

Analytics (Google, DC Storm etc) –we use this to understand how the site is being used in order to improve the user experience. User Feedback company - this is tool for us to capture user feedback. You should be able to see the red triangle in the bottom right hand corner of the website. User data is all anonymous unless you give your name in any feedback.
Site Performance
 this service helps us understand the speed and technical performance of our site so we can monitor and improve it. User data is all anonymous
Website Useability
– this tool, shows how users interact with a particular page e.g. heat maps and scroll maps. This is to help us improve the usability of our web pages. User data is all anonymous.
Affiliates
 – this cookie is only set if you get to the confirmation page after checkout. It is used to track whether we then owe any money as a commission to a site (affiliate) which has referred business to us.

Social buttons.
On many of the pages of the site you will see ‘social buttons’. These enable users to share or bookmark the web pages. In order to implement these buttons, and connect them to the relevant social networks and external sites, there are scripts from domains outside. You should be aware that these sites are likely to be collecting information about what you are doing all around the internet. So if you click on any of these buttons, these sites will be registering that action and may use that information. In some cases these sites will be registering the fact that you are visiting our site and the specific pages you are on, even if you don’t click on the button if you are logged into their services, like Google and Facebook. We use a number of external web services mostly to display content within our web pages. As with the social buttons we cannot prevent these sites, or external domains, from collecting information on your usage of this embedded content. If you are not logged in to these external services then they will not know who you are but are likely to gather anonymous usage information e.g. number of views, plays, loads etc.

And finally
You are generally entitled to ask us (by letter or e-mail) what details of yours are being held or processed, for what purpose and to whom they may be or have been disclosed. We will charge a fee to respond to such a request. We promise to respond to your request within 40 days of receiving your written request and fee. In certain limited circumstances we are entitled to refuse your request.
