For a pre-Christmas family treat, you can’t beat a week in Pralognan-la-Vanoise, one of France’s oldest mountain villages. With New Year falling late in the school holidays, the week before Christmas is proving very popular. And it just got better! For one week only, from 17th December, for every adult paying full price for ski hire, lift pass and group ski lessons, one child under 10 can have free ski hire, lift pass and group ski lessons. Plus 1 week, from 17th December in a 2 bedroom apartment sleeping 6, at Les Jardins de Vanoise, set right beside the lift station, in the centre of the village, was £888, now only £757 (including Flexiplus Eurotunnel)
Pralognan-la-Vanoise in the Savoie region is one of the oldest mountain villages in France, and has welcomed skiers and nature lovers for over a hundred years.
Most of the people working in the resort are locals and are very proud of their region. Pralognan-la-Vanoise is well-known for being a warm and friendly village, perfect for a family holiday, where everyone can find activities that they will enjoy, whether that is skiing or other mountain sports, relaxation or entertainment.
The residence is in a perfect situation at the centre of the village, and offers 33 excellent apartments which can accommodate up to 11 people.
We offer you 4 types of apartments that can accommodate from 6 up to 11 people.
Apartment type BCF is 41m² and can accommodate 6 persons.
There is either, a sofa bed, 2 single beds or pull out beds in the lounge.
The kitchen area is well equipped with a dishwasher, hotplates, extractor fan, refrigerator, microwave, a washing machine/dryer, a kettle and an electric coffee machine.
There are two bedrooms that have either a double bed, pull out beds or two single beds.
There is one bathroom, one shower and two toilets, most of them are separate.
Each apartment has a balcony, a private parking space and a ski locker.
Please note that the residence also offers a covered car park (to reserve at time of booking).
Some apartments for 6 people have wheelchair access.
Being in the centre of the village, means you are just metres away from restaurants and ski shops. There are two small supermarkets, the first one is approximately 200 m away. There is a hairdresser, a bakery, regional products and souvenir shops. There are doctors, a pharmacy, nurses, post office, banks etc...
At the reception, there is free WIFI access and you may borrow board games, DVD players and the WII.
Other outdoor facilities
Alpine or cross country skiing, snowboard, snowshoe, sledge, sleigh rides. Pré'lude Olympic leisure centre has an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, steam room etc... an Ice skating rink, Bar, Bowling Alley, Games Room with pool tables, arcades games and evening concerts.
There are two small food shops, the first one is approximately 200 m away from the residence.
