Fantasy Literature at St Gilles Croix de Vie

Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie dares a festival dedicated to Heroic fantasy literature with exhibitions and an entertainment program.
Heroic fantasy has already drawn millions of fans into its multitude of imaginary worlds. Theis genre, available in literature, film, or in pictorial art in video games, seduces far beyond the young audience.

Thus children, teens and their parents and grandparents have addressed the organizers at St Gilles Croix de Vie in the Vendee, This is the first festival around this
Heroic fantasy both medieval and futuristic.

The exhibition is already visible at
Baudouin Hall, and throughout the festival, with works by Amandine Labarre that captures this wonderfully magical spirit.

Another exhibition at the library of the Cannery, explains by signs, illustrations, texts, what exactly is this special Art.

This festival is interactive and intergenerational, with a big day Saturday, February 11, at the Cannery room from 10 pm (free).

A fantasy world will be reconstituted with workshops, book signings by Eric Boisset, graphic arts workshops with artist Philippe Bourgoin, an exchange for books, introductions to role play, a show  entitled Mémémoire .
